Stage is set for the Last 16

We are exactly one week away from the beginning of the VELUX EHF Champions League knockout phase and the schedule for the Last 16 has now been confirmed.

The first leg begins on Wednesday 20 Match with a clash between Rhein-Neckar Löwen and last season’s finalists HBC Nantes.

The remaining five first leg matches take place on the weekend, with Match of the Week between HC PPD Zagreb and HC Vardar on Saturday 23 March.

The second leg is entirely a weekend affair, with four matches on Saturday and two on Sunday, concluding with SG Flensburg-Handewitt vs HC Meshkov Brest on 31 March.

In addition to the usual coverage of Match of the Week, there will be English commentary from Tom O'Brannagain, Chris O'Reilly and David Bregazzi provided for all Last 16 fixtures for the very first time on ehfTV.com.
