Balic signed for Zagreb

After months of rumours and long negotiations between Portland San Antonio and Croatia osiguranje Zagreb, the “Balic transfer” has come to a final stage. Club officials agreed in all details and one of the best players of the world will return to Croatia.

In his new club, Balic will keep his shirt number, 34.

The Croatian middle back played four seasons for Portland San Antonio – “four beautiful years” as Balic said.

Earlier he played for Brodomerkur in Split and Metkovic Jambo.

Balic signed a four-year contract in the presence of Ivan Suker (Croatian Finance Minister) and Milan Bandic (Mayor of Zagreb).
